About Us
Please do not feed your dogs before class. You will need roughly 100 high-value bite sized treats to get through a class.
Current vaccination status is a must! Rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and bordatella vaccines are required. We also strongly recommend the leptospirosis vaccine. Additionally, a negative fecal exam in the last twelve months, and use of some type of flea and tick preventative are also required. To stay as a guest or train in group classes at B&B, dogs must be good with other dogs and people.
As a positive reinforcement facility, no leash pops/jerks, corrections, or reprimands will be used in our classes. Additionally, retractable leashes, choke, prong and shock collars are not allowed on the property.

Beginning for puppies between 8-18 weeks of age. This is a strongly socially based program, it is during this critical learning window that great social experiences can help shape your dog for a lifetime. We address common puppy concerns: Housetraining, play biting, and very fundamental training. Confidence building and social skills are far more important than formal training at this time. Class meets on Saturdays at from 9:00 - 10:00am. Your first week you will attend a brief orientation beginning at 8:15am sharp. Your puppy must be on schedule with vaccines and have a negative fecal exam. The cost for this 6 week class is $135.00
Round One

This class is for all dogs 5 months and older. This class covers basic manners: Sit, down, recall, take it/leave it, and loose leash walking are among the skills we work on. This is a 6 week session and the cost is $140.00. The first week is people only, no dogs. Homework is given each week, as well as information about how dogs learn, and what your training practice should look like. Become a better teacher for your dog by learning some fundamental facts about canines!

For dogs that have achieved the Round One Skills, this class begins to add more distance and distraction, as well as work on new behaviors and skills that will be necessary for Therapy Dog testing. Working around wheelchairs, walkers, and crutches, as well as focusing on handlers in closer proximity to other dogs, position practice This is a 6 week session and the cost is $140.00

A great confidence builder, each week has a different course for you and your dog to practice and have fun. Dogs must have a reliable off leash recall and have solid Round One skills. This is a 5 week class that costs $115.00

Clicker Training is fun for both the dogs and their humans! Week one is for humans only. You will learn fundamental clicker skills and work on specific behaviors. This is a 6 week class that last $140.00

Another fun class. Dogs in the class search for food hidden in an environment that changes a bit each week. This is a 5 week class that costs $115.00. A great way to have fun with your dog!

Be Thoughtful:
Dogs must be socially good with other dogs for group classes. Private training is available for dogs not ready for group classes. Dogs should not greet one another on leash, please be respectful of other dogs' space when entering/exiting the premises.
